Passion, It's the thing that drives us to achieve. The push we feel to dare to dream something, ideal, and then manifest that vision into reality. For anyone who's ever fallen head over heels into an engine bay, or body work, or getting your car track ready, YOU KNOW that feeling that drives you to customize and make things as you feel they should be. Your intuition is second to none.  RC Car Skyline GTR R34 Custom Built Remote Control Car This GTR is no different from any of the other incredible cars featured on this site ( just look around; there's red ones , blue ones , silver ones , white ones , black ones ) - except for one, small, detail. - It's 1/7th the size! The Assault Jeep based on the 2007 Wrangler Unlimited

Came across this mean looking Jeep and got in touch with the owner to find out a little bit more. It's not often we feature this type of vehicle on The SkyLife but this level of passion and dedication to details is exactly what it means to be living the skylife, plus it's just awesome. Proclaimed as an assault vehicle, just wait 'till you see what it's hiding...

Mike Gindlesberger was happy to share his story of how this Jeep evolved while under his command, an entrepreneur who happens to manufacture those badass lightbars under the brand Toughlife Off-Road, like the one you see on the hood.
"I have built several jeeps in the past but my 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited surpasses them all."

When I was visualizing the build I really wanted to keep in mind that a majority of this jeeps life will be spent on the road. I drive a lot and really wanted to maintain its handling both on and off-road.

The jeep had Dana 44 axles when it was bought so I knew that it could take the abuse. I decided to go with a 6" skyjacker lift and the Bilstein gas shocks. The tires were definitely too small so I upgraded to 37" 13.50 Procomp all-terrains and 17" Procomp alloy wheels.

The gas mileage was terrible so I upgraded my gears to 5.13's. It still looked too small so I decided to go ahead and upgrade the Front and rear bumpers. I went with the ARB deluxe JKU front bumper and the swing out rear tire carrier.
Off Road Jeep Wrangler

I had to add a winch so I went with the Smitybuilt xrc 8500 I really liked how the jeep was looking but I needed something different so I decided to build an air system for it. I went with a VI-AIR 200psi quick-fill compressor and a 2 gallon tank, I added air lines to a 7 gallon Aux tank so I can fill my tires quickly. I went with the Horn-blasters 300psi actuator and a 225psi solenoid.
Train Horns installed on Jeep
YES - Those are TRAIN HORNS on this Jeep
I ended up going with the Omega ah-300 and I'm currently pushing about 145 decibels. I am getting around 17 miles per gallon with the re-gear. I am currently thinking about adding lockers and upgrading to a Rock Krawler lift.

Epic. Nicely done Mike. Here's a last photo really showing the full illumination power of that light bar.
