Romanian Rally Mitsubishi Evo X Full Rebuild and Swedish Fast Five

Take those 5 to 10 minutes you'd normally spend on Reddit ;) and use them to check out these 2 clips, you won't be disappointed. Beauty.


First off, recently came across this video clip published Aug-12 about "Fast Five Sweden Edition". When we covered the advanced screening of Fast Five (Angle on the Classic Hakosuka GTR), it seems like it's started to dry out the franchise a bit - Putting a twist on things and making it all just a little more "Swedish" seems to have done the trick! Those Volvo wagons appear timid on the outside but they get sideways just as well as the others, when's the full length feature?

Since we're in the spirit of videos from foreign places, this should also be a good time for anyone who loves attention to detail, racing, and beautifully built cars. Oh yah, and if you ever wanted to see a full rebuild of a Mitsubishi Evo X... not just any Evo though, this one belongs to a Romanian, Group N Rally race team and built by Colina Motorsports - in Romania.

In this Evo X rebuild they start with a complete tear down, at a level of detail you could probably follow frame by frame to assist you in a DIY walk-through. Then they pull the engine and transmission, quick inspection of the tranny, refresh the engine and send the shell off for paint. Getting it back together, rebuild and swap the differential,
